Visualize Success

What do you want today? Are you willing to try something different – something proven to work? It helped Michael Phelps win 23 Olympic gold medals. It also helped one of my clients get $30,000 in funding in 20 minutes.

The tool? Visualization. The key: your subconscious cannot tell the difference between you imagining a result and it happening.

You have done this millions of times, imagining the worst. Right? You may have done it today already.

Now imagine the best – rehearse great outcomes, as Michael did. He trained his brain for success. He visualized.

His coach told him to run a movie in his mind, to see himself swimming events – with perfect performance. Michael “played the movie” each night before bed, and after he woke up – the best times for brain training.

This is how everything is created. It is first a thought – then you imagine it and finally you create it. The more excited you feel and the more you see your goal accomplished, just like Michael, the faster it comes.

Ready for your own version of Olympic gold?

Here’s how to program your brain for success: Right before you go to sleep – run your success movie; see what you want, and feel it happening. For example, if you want a certain amount in savings, see it in your account, feel prosperous. If you want to improve (spouse) or create (dating) a relationship, see laughter, feel happiness together. This will program your mind for the best results throughout the day; you will be the best version of yourself.

At work: (This is what my client did – go Sharon – to get $30,000 in funding) Right before a key meeting, close your eyes for one minute: See and feel the successful end of the meeting. Feel happy and excited as you see people shake hands; keep seeing the perfect end of the meeting. •Your subconscious will help you with the “how,” the details.

Note: this doesn’t mean you don’t prepare for the meeting. Do your homework and go in with a great attitude. Remember? Get excited! You will be more powerful.

I challenge you to try visualization today, as my client did – right after I taught it in a workshop. Your day will go remarkably well when you keep “seeing/feeling success” before each meeting or interaction.

Visualize success.
